About the Faith In Action Candidates' Forum

The Faith In Action Candidates Forum, presented by Interfaith Illinois, Inc., brings candidates and community members together for an informative public forum focused on the issues affecting our neighborhoods, families, schools, institutions, and communities.

Attendees will have an opportunity to hear directly from invited and registered candidates seeking public office at the federal, state, county, and local levels.

Featured office hopefuls are anticipated to include candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, Governor, Illinois Secretary of State, Illinois State Senate, Illinois House of Representatives, and President of the Chicago Board of Education.

The forum also anticipates hearing from candidates seeking key Cook County offices, including Cook County Assessor, President of the Cook County Board of Commissioners, Cook County Circuit Court judicial offices, Cook County Clerk, and Cook County Sheriff.

Through moderated questions, panel discussions, and candidate responses, the FIA Candidates Forum is designed to give voters an opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to represent them and to learn more about their priorities, perspectives, and approaches to issues affecting our communities.
